This is an outrage...! i can't believe you folks don't have a spotters' thread...! Check out this 308 i spotted in Atlanta last Saturday, just down the road from Ferrari of Atlanta...
We thought something was wrong with it, too, but aside from the wheels, everything on the car looked fine... Sure, the back looked a little hopped up, but everything looked to be in order... From the moment i saw it, i thought it looked a little off, but i couldn't figure it out... i don't think it's a Fiero; if it is, it's a VERY good replica...
Fiero for sure. Also down the road from FoA is Frazer Dante, a classic car dealership, where you will see this 275 GTB-inspired Miata: Image Unavailable, Please Login
Fiero... The car has one piece window w/o a wing window in the door. Probably a Mera...A replica that has fooled many people JD
That too _ucking funny. Des yells at us for not have a "spotters" thread and then the one car he posts is a fake! Luke. PS, good idea though.
LOL... The irony is certainly something to laugh at, i guess... My friend and i thought there was something wrong with it; it looked weird, but we kept looking and couldn't find anything wrong with it (except for the wheels, of course)... Thanks, folks...
DES, shame on you!!! You are the F1 Champ/post whore of Fchat and you couldn't spot that POS kit-car from a mile away? LOL!!! You should have called or emailed me.
What can i say...? i'm fluent with 308s/328s... It slipped by me... Even though i now KNOW that it's a replica, i STILL can't tell you what's wrong with it, though... (except for those damn wheels)...
Unfortunately not... But PM me anyway... i don't recognize your username; what's your real name...? Did you post under a different username on the other board...?
hey at least there are more of us GA folks here in one thread.i am hoping to go to atlanta this month to look around. will do some fcar hunting while i am there. cheers michael
It's fake. The mirrors are wrong, the door handles are wrong, it's too short, the front window is wrong, and the worst part are the wheels. That's all i can tell with one look.
Ok can't let the thread down.... Thursday afternoon my wife called me and says "I'm 85N traffic hell and just passed an OLD Ferrari, white, have no idea what model." I'm yelling FIND IT, FIND IT! But too late. A few days ago I was turning into the credit union on Hwy 20 just north of 316 (Lawrenceville) and what passed me turning a nice 4k or so, but a beautiful red 348! Very unusual in this part of town. Last month my wife and I were driving near Discover Mills ("outlet" mall with higher prices than a regular mall!) when a red 355 turned in front of us and the owner ROMPED on it...only to miss the shift into 2nd! DOH! Sounded great though. And of course any time I vist FOA I spot a couple 360s in the area, got passed by a titanium coupe a couple months ago. Mark
