0-60 in 3.3 seconds fitted with a 6 speed sequential gearbox.

does that mean its like an F-1 tranny? or do you just press up and down on shifter to shift?

This is one of the collectors cars isn't it? Wasn't the one that crashed the only one that was really being driven?

NO. This is S/N 3 and it has been sitting in a Melbourne showroom for the last 12mths. It was recently flown out and put on the market. It has NEVER been damaged in any way and indeed only saw the track very briefly on one occasion during it's time in Australia.

Oh My God, I want that F50GT so bad. I would love to have that SEFAC 250 SWB too. Does anyone remember seeing the video of the gentleman driving his 355B to the limits, then getting blown away by an F40 then the F50 GT? The sound was truly amazing and you sure as hell could hear 9-10,000 RPM shifts! It was awe inspiring.

I never saw this car in real life but I have a video of a F50 GT on the track with a F40 LM and I can tell you the F40 LM you could barely hear it. The sound that the F50 GT makes , has to be one of the best ever.

I realize that they are barely similar cars, but is the price difference justified given that there is 0 racing history, 0 credibility in that field, etc? I mean, for a car that is maybe 2/10ths better on the track (and requires a driver who is comfortable at 10/10ths to notice), what's the point?

I realize that the obvious answer is exclusivity, especially since it's now 1 of 2, but surely exclusivity also requires something to back it beyond the badge?

Oh, and finances are still somewhat relative. For 2MM, you open a whole slew of options. Say, a 917K?
