Can you please tell me how to remove the gear shift knob from the end of the shift lever on a GT4?

I would have thought that it was a simple screw on item, I have tried to unscrew it using moderate force, not wanting to break anything, and have not been able to get the thing to budge, were they glued on at the factory?

your help is very much appreciated.

    Scotty.

check for a crome nut on the shaft that screws up to tighten the knob.

It is a photochop, I did it myself, its a bit of a hobby of mine (sad I know) I post the pics as downloadable wallpaper on my website (www.scottmakin.co.uk) but the site is down at the moment, I need some of that all illusive time to fix and maintain it!

I'll try to send you a full size via email if you would like.

    cheers
    Scotty.
