I got a bit carried away today and walked home with 6 new 1:18 models.

    -Red 512M
-Red 550 --Im going to repaint it Azzuro California over tan, with blue carpets and tan seats with blue daytona accents
    -Red 612 Scaglietti
    -Red Challenge Stradale
-Silver 456 --almost looks grigio ingrid in different light
    -Red Ford GT --cool model!

So now I have a modest collection of 26 1:18s

Good for you!!! I know how it is. I just bought 19 cars. The only ones that matter are the ferrari's:

    -1957 testarossa
    -250 GTO
    -1984 Testarossa
    -512M
    -288GT0 *sigh* it's sooo beautiful ;-)
    -512M 1:43 (in Giallo) Sweet!
-1:24 308 Race Car (if it every gets here)

    (I will add those to the F50, F40, 550 Barchetta, 348, 355 Spyder and 333SP ;-)

and a really serious TVR ;-) lot's of pre-war cars like Alfa, Bugatti, jag and benz. I can go on. I am now up to just over 50 1:18. I know this is nothing for some but it's alot for me since I just started collecting.

Most of the Ferrari's I have are NEW but discontinued Bburago's. WHat are people's thought's on those. For the money I still think they are great models.

    Cheers,

    Very nice!
How about a shot of the 360CS next to the Ford GT since they are being compared in magazines anyway? :p

And I do agree, Bburago are good for their price.

On a side note; I see people talking junk about Mattel/Hot Wheels and how they do their models and how they are not as good as some others. No, it is not a $200 Exoto nor a $60 Auto Art and therefore not comparable to them; but for $20 they are excellent models.

Hey Spider I totally agree with you! about the prices on Bburago & Hot wheels and besides that waht other make would built a model for 57 Testa Rossa and 1950 166 Brachetta. non-expensive Mattel & Bburago models rule!!!!

Jerry, if you go to the spectrum there is a guy in a vender cart called "Chad's Collection" who has a whole bunch of 1:18 models! Good stuff! Go check it out. They get new models in every week and always have great Ferraris
