What do you guys think the best color combo is for a 348tb or 348ts.
IMO black over black is so right for this model.

    I actually like the silver.

You so rarely see it in anything other than black, yellow, silver, or red. Blues became really popular when Ferrari released a blue 355 in its press photos. So, before that having anything beyond those 4 was really unusual.

Edit: or white, I suppose, was a relatively common color. But you definitely didn't have the same range as now.

I thought about blue but I could not find a clean one. The first photo is when I picked it up fro Steve Harris Imports in Utah, the second one after I owned for about 3 months, new wheels and shields!

Personally, I'm partial to black/black with special order tan seats. :)
Of course, any time the rockers are painted to match the body, it greatly improves the car's visual appeal.

Wow, silver over red... I'm speechless. A ts too! Is it a '94(?), I notice the skirts are body color but I'm not sure what year they started doing that?

You really do have a jaw dropping ride... heck, its my new wallpaper!! :)

    Happy Driving!

For a tb or ts, I prefer black 'cause it gives the car a more recent look. Those early models always had black skirts and I didn't like that very much on a yelow or white example. 348's look better with skirts in body colour like they did on the later models.

    To be precise...
    348 tb / 1989-93 / 81617-96679
    348 ts / 1989-93 / 81651-96964
    348 Serie Speciale (US) / 1993 / 92812-95863
    348 Spider / 1993-95 / 96520-99627
    348 GTB / 1993-94 / 96937-99364
    348 GTS / 1993-94 / 96826-99197
    348 GT Competizione (Europe)/ 1994
    348 Challenge / based on different 348's

The skirts on some earlier models were repainted in body color...

Overal, a 348 looks best in black, yellow or silver IMO.
But I wouldn't mind owning another color either :D

I agree with Alexander, although I've seen 348s tb/ts where the black parts had been given the same colour as the rest of the body.

Black/black would be nice, but IMO black/red or black/tan looks a little more livelier.

I love the car in silver as well, especially with a red interior. Red and blue are great too. Not too fond of yellow and I don't like white. Then again, I don't like white for anything else than a company van.

Black/black is an unlivable color down here in Texas in the summertime.

I guess I must like silver, I came out of a Anthracite/Black 308gtsi to a Silver/Tan 328gtsi and now the Silver/Red 348ts, the red took a little time to get use to. But it is a great color combo IMHO. Its a 1991, the lower rocker panels were painted before I purchased it from Steve Harris (Sean was great to work with). I flew from LA to check it out and drive it. I had this photo of the interior so thought I would post it for you all to see. I had to have the aluminum pedals and shifter, other then that its stock. But I keep thinking about an exhaust system or removing the cats and putting strait pipes on it, but living in California, its not easy dealing with the DMV.

P.S. I keep hearing stories about early 348's, I must say I have not experienced any of those grimlins, but that cars has had every update done including the single plate clutch?

I like my '90 Gregio Metalic 348tb with gray and black interior. It is the only one I have heard or in that color combination.

That is awsome, but I will not rest until I find a Black/Creme 348 tha twill fit my budget. It must be black fo rme. All my cars are black and I just have to have a black 348. I think they look badass in black.
