Got my Stradale today !!

Well it arrived. body work looks very very cool. Interior is very cool, minimal interior which is just the way I like it, no floor carpet, no fluffy door panels, no fluffy nothing. Everything has a purpose. Its just like my challenge car except done nicely for the street with all the pretty stuff as compared to a real challenge car.

The brakes are HUGE carbon/ceramic and work very well which is why its quicker car around the track.

Best thing about this car is the F1 shifter improvement. Differences below:
360 F1 street car: I would not own a street car with F1 trans. They a very herky jerky, uninvolving and very boring.
360 6 spd. Street car. A TON of fun, no other trans to have. For the driver this IS the transmission.
360 F1 Challenge car: The F1 in my car on the track is the only way to go. Keep in mind this is a much different setup than the street 360 F1 trans. Under full power and racing its incredible and WILL get you around the track faster.
360 F1 Challenge Stradale: Everything the F1 trans should be on the street car. Driving like a normal car (shifting at 3000-3500RPMs) it up and down shifts as smooth as my Mercedes. It starts from a dead stop just like a normal car with an automatic. This is the way the F1 trans should be. Now when you want to get after it, its very similar to my challenge car, slightly slower but very similar, I love it.

Yes it drives like a challenge car, not as connected to the road, not as noisy, not as seat of the pants, not as edgy, not as good of turn in, not as flat, not as quick, etc. but very very similar in feel.

The Noise: everyone including me has been wondering about the wonderful music. It opens to a straight exhaust at around 4000 rpms or so, it does get louder but not as loud as the Challenge car. Same tonality as the challenge car but not as loud. It is very close to the Tubi in loudness but the Stradale has a better sound than the Tubi, but then again anything does. Is it too loud? In my opinion its not even close to being loud enough. Does it sound cool? Ya, not bad for stock (stradale). But keep in mind my F40 has got to be one of the loudest cars on the street. Someone said “ya but its turbo so its not that loud”. I beg to differ. I would have thought the same thing with the turbos since I have a turbo sand rail and the exhaust pipe is a single only about 5” from the turbo and it sounds like my Mercedes (little better). The F40 has two turbos and the pipes are about 3.5 feet from the turbos and it is the loudest thing I have ever heard. Cant tell you why but it is. Its sounds great, and everyone seems to love it. Sorry back to the Stradale.

Great looking car, very nice improvements, well worth the $30k just for the “fixed” F1 trans alone. Body styling is very cool. No stripe on the car and you have the best 360 on the road (with exception to the 6 spd car that is). Add the stripe and you have still a great car but you are now “boy racer” looking. Well well worth the $30k more.

track? thats what the real thing is for. the Challenge car is for the track the stradale is for the street for me. sure it would be fun but the challenge is even more so.
