Yeah, I read a news article that said that hundreds of families are buying armor and shipping it to their relatives overseas - apparently there is a serious need to be filled as far as military procurement. The article said that dozens of soldiers have been posted sans armor. I doubt their on the 'front line,' but considering the dangers even civilians are facing, I wouldn't leave home without it.

The officer who is prosecuting him is getting paid well, as is any captain (who probably has at least 7-8 years of longevity pay going for him), or all officers for that matter.
