Not a shot you see everyday! Will do a full write-up tomorrow! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have a crappy video - Just need to get it up - Probably tomorrow. These pics are actually from the video. Oh yeah, and that's me driving the 288.
it wouldn't be completely unlikely in california. i remember visiting my dad in malibu a few summer's ago and saw an F50 and 550 barchetta (woman driving) within a minute of eachother. check out the spotters thread(s) in the southern calif. section for some crazy single day, same hour, etc. sightings of ferraris and other exotics. awesome!
What are you doing posing for that shot? Shouldn't your eyes be on the road? Hehe, just kiddin. That's way cool Jerry. Know you like that car. So, share with us...what was it like???
Armen mentioned that - He said you are a good guy. Hope to meet you someday. EVartanian - I just finished the write up in the So-Cal section - I hope to get video soon : http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=203930#post203930
WOW, Jerry...you are one lucky guy! Driving the 288, not to mention alongside an F40, must have been one incredible experience! I'm heading over to read your write-up now...
damn... that's kick a$$. I dig the personal pictures sometimes more than the professional pictures. Sometimes they bring out the little unposed items about a car.
Slag you lucky bastard!! So you bought the redhead AND kept the 328? So how do you like the Testarossa?
I'm selling the 328 to a local F-Chatter in a few weeks. The Testarossa hasn't arrived yet. Doesn't ship till early next week. I can already tell you I like it though. I drove it once in Florida and can't wait to start driving it again!
Well I for one will be interested in your impressions of the testarossa, I hope you give a detailed write up.
Finally got the video uploaded - Not the best quality, but worth a peek : http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=208804#post208804
Chiaro: Remenber to thank Armen for being so gracious to meet with me last winter. He went far out of his way for an F-chatter he had otherwise never met! Also say hello to Rick, who I had the fortune to meet briefly as one of the Crystal Cove get-togethers was drawing to a close. (that car, wow!) Both Armen and Rick are the kind of people that make me proud to be a member of the Ferrari community. That 288 is sure one fine example! (the F40 turbos apear to be a must-do.) And rick's car is immaculate.
I got to drive an F-40 last summer! It was amazing. To top it off it was my first time to drive ANY Ferrari!
I converted the file to a much smaller clip in Quicktim; http://www.dreamns.com/stuff/mmv307613-1.mov
