When starting the car everthing is normal and i can adjust the temperature in the display.
After driving for a while the display, instead of the chosen temperature, reads EB or E8.
The air coming into the car is not warm anymore and the only way to get the temperature back in the display is to restart the car.
Anyone who knows what this means and/or what the problem might be?

    Regards Peter

If I remember correctly E8 has to do with the electric waterpump. (Don't have the manual here at home) I have seen a couple of these lock up.

    Ok, thanks for the information.

I have little knowledge of this, what is the purpose with the elctrical water pump compared to the "belt driven" water pump?

It keeps the hot water circulating especially when the car is idling. TR's were bad about loosing heat when idling because they didn't have this pump.

Thank you, I really appreciate your help.

You do not happen to know where it is located, so that I can check the performance of it?
