I'm new here, so I apologise if this has already been covered.

I understand CMC are releasing a 250 SWB in 1:18 scale, I bet that will look fantastic. Plus the Maserati Birdcage. Has anyone seen any pictures?

That would be very very cool. I would love a 250 SWB.

Actually, I always thought CMC only made those older racing M-Bs. I'll do a search for the Ferrari.

I also read that Exoto is doing the 250 GTO in 1:18 for approx $200, and a 1:10 Enzo which will be approx $995.

Plus the F40 and F50, available in both Red and Yellow.

Knowing how Exoto like to make many versions of the same car, I really hope they produce an F40 LM, 1:18 and/or 1:10

When I went to the exoto website, what got my attention was a line of cars to be released later - I will call Monday, but here is the list from the 'Gran Turismo' line:

1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB Berlinetta
    1964 Ferrari 275 GTB
    1966 Ferrari 275 GTB/4

    http://www02.exoto.com/Cashier/index.asp?display=Catalog/Menu.asp

Since Mattel is also going to put out a Lusso and 166 Barchetta, the mid engine Ferrari models will soon have some front engine friends.

An Exoto 1:18 F40 LM? Now THAT would be amazing.

In any case, really looking forward to a nice 250 GT SWB.

    BIG THANKS to snj5

I've just followed his link, the F40 LM is mentioned. I have not looked at the site for quite some time now, as it was not changing. I really hope it happens, you can bet your life, if and when it does there will be numerous versions to choose from.

    That's made my day.

Exoto will also be doing a 1/10 330P4. I can't wait for THAT one!

I have a silver 1:18 250 GT SWB that was released by Jouef Evolution in the early 90's. It's a nice looking model. Here's a photo along with a 412 P from the same company and a Bburago 250 TR.

Very nice 250GT SWB Augustine! If you can, how about some more detailed pics of her? (All angles, interior etc.). Thanks.

    Joe,

No problem. I will be away from home until tomorrow night but I'd be happy to take more pics then.

Here are more photos of my 1:18 Jouef 250 GT SWB. The lighting isn't very good but you can see the car well enough. Some of the trim has gone missing over the years including the driver's side tailpipe and side marker light. Enjoy.

I got that one too. Is a nice model, but ofcourse it can't compare to CMC.

BUT, it is better than Mattel and Bburago in my opinion.

    Joe,

    No problem.

    Dr. Bob,

I agree with you that the old Jouef models weren't the best but I like the fact that they didn't just make the same old models that everyone else did. I had their '67 330 P4 at one time and that was a pretty nice model. It looked awesome! I am not familiar with CMC but I am looking forward to what they have coming out.

Dr. Bob, I got that one as well, the #14 car, and I just won the Tour de France #147 for $30.00 on E-bay. I think that I will have Cavallino do a special paint job for me on one of the cars, maybe Maranello Blue.

The CMC model should be a lot better. I have seen this model in the 1/24th scale for around $600.00. It was a handbuilt with exquisite attention to detail for such a beautiful car. I can't wait to see CMC's 250 GT SWB and Exoto's 250 GTO. Has anyone found any pics? If so, could some one drop me a link?

    Thanks Everyone
