I will assume this is a sure sign to walk away.
When you close the door you have to either slam it {hard} or pull up. On both doors, the drivers side is a little worse.

HA! You have to be kidding me! I was reading up on them before I went and didn't recall seeing that year. Guess what... This car is at a dealership!

'77 was their first year. I should call the city and see if they can shut this guy down. He has a lot of "high class" cars and has a rep for buying damaged cars from around the US and Canada. I was just taking a peek, trying to sort out the field. But this won't help me. Thanks.

76 in the U.K i dont think the parts are interchangable with the earlier 365 as the wheelbase is different on both models, sounds like a ringer to me.

Can you PM me with details, even if just a city? I've been looking for a BBi and want to make sure it's not someone I've been talking to. Although a '73 512BB would of tripped even my alarm bells. Although I've seen very few 365 BB's for sale in North America. Supposedly most have gone overseas. Thx!

From what I have read there wasn't even a 365GT4BB Boxer in 1973! The 365GT4BB was made from 1974-1976, the BB512 from 1976-1980 and the BB512i from 1981-1984. However, some BB512s made in 1980 were sold as 1981 models .

My source indicates that there were 24 365 BBs produced in 1973.

Ferrari geared up for production of the 365 GT4 BB in 1973,
The majority of the cars were produced from 1974-1976.
The 365 GT4 BB serial #'s range from chassis #17301 to the final chassis #19701...

I would not necessarily run from the car because of the doors,
they can be shimmed, how was the rest of the car?

While I never got into the triple theme on the rear of the 365,
    they sure are a blast.

    But the post claims it is a 1973 BB512 not a 365GT4BB !

Read the title to the post. There were no BB512s a/k/a 512BBs made in 1973 !
