Sorry but I'm Anti-AOL, (5.0) I will never down load or use their services again. When I cancelled services & went to another provider, the AOL software did something to my modem settings, it would not allow any other providers to operate on my P/C except their own, as if they were blocked out from making a line connection.

How about using the live chat that testshoot set up?

Thanks for the invite, but it cost me $$$ to have that software removed, from what I understand this was a very common issue with AOL & member that went to a different provider.

One question though, can you voice chat?

 

Hey, no prob...I'm not an AOL fan either... I just use the chat. You can do voice and there is also a video feature.... voice works ok but I've had trouble getting the video past my router. There are other programs you can use to talk with AOL members though... Trillian comes to mind.
