Shortly after pulling off I-5 at exit 208 on the way home I decided to turn the wheel over to Eric for some additional backroads cruizing. As soon as we headed west into the valley Eric said, "Theres an Enzo behind us". I thought 'Yeah, right'. I turn around and there is Greg in his Enzo! We pulled over in Silvana and he stopped behind us. I introduced myself and told him we had just finished a run. After a very short conversation we got out of there after 3 cars pulled in to take a look. Talk about a magnet!

Did any of you guys see him heading north on I-5 just south of Arlington?

No room left on my chip, no pictures. You guys will never believe me!

I'll process the rest later tonight and post.

    Super run today!

    DJ,

I watched shocked to see the ENZO too!!

I was in the fast lane heading south on I-5 and he was heading north in the fast lane. I waved my arm out the window as he went by. I couldn't see the driver but figured it was probably Greg W.

I'll post some pictures from today soon.

I waved at the Enzo but it was too late to see if he saw me. I thought it might be Greg W.

In north Everett, there was a cop the ran out to the middle of the highway to pick up something. Totally crazy given the amount of traffic.

    Willis,

That State Troop ran out in the middle of the freeway to pick up a large HAMMER in the road. Pretty risky business.

At first I thought we were all in trouble and he was going to wave us down to pull over.

Wow!!! You couldn't ask for a better day to get out with the F-Club to do some driving on some of the best roads around. Thanks to Dave H, Dana and anyone else that helped to put this drive together for us! It was awesome!

By the way. for those that missed it; some jack_ss told me that we have all been "turned into the State Patrol"....
Uniforms, badges and ticket books to be issued next week; Emergency Vehicle Operation Course already completed today! (I'm not sure I can handle 2 full-time jobs though... but ok).

Was that a hammer? I thought it was a large, spent flair, or a crowbar.

Dave, You are a class act! Giving rides to those 2 little kids was the best. I think you just made 2 Ferrari fans for life. :)

    Great job!

I had a great time on the first part of our drive today... things did change after I left the group in Bellingham.

Headed south on I-5 with the "check engine 7-12" light still illuminated. I was definitely noticing changes in power under steady throttle. Yup, one bank was cutting in and out as those who'd driven behind me earlier had seen and smelled. Just as I was going through Mount Vernon the "slow down 7-12" light flicked on then off. I got off the road immediately. Nothing visibly wrong when I opened up the engine cover - no smoke, flames or bad smells thankfully. But I decided there would be no more driving today.

Called FoS then Crossroads for a tow back. Unfortunately, the traffic going north was horrendous thanks to the tulip lookers and it took 2.5 hours for the truck to get to me. Finally made it to FoS around 3:30. Doug said he'd stay after closing to check me in if necessary when making the 4pm closing seemed questionable and Pasqualie kindly offered me a lift back to Kirkland.

Interestingly, Stan G had seen my car on the flatbed as we were entering Seattle and called my cell. He offered to drive me back in "Little Red" and I gladly accepted. Finally got home at about 4:30. What a long day!

Sorry I missed the rest of the trip - it sounds like it was a blast.
    Cheers,
    Will

I think he saw you guys because he asked me if I had been on a club outing.

He said he was going up to see the Tulips and I told him the traffic was bad. He said he was going to sneak up through Stanwood. I wished him LUCK!. (He had his mom with him.)
