I am just curious as to what you love about your Ferrari the most. Looks? Power? SOUND? Attention it gets? I'd be so overwhelmed I wouldlnt know what to choose if I had an F car - Andy
The beauty of the car, the smell of the leather, the torque, the ability to drive with my Bouviers. The 456m is perfect!!
I don't own one... yet!! but, I once read the two most beautiful words in the engish language are "My Ferrari". I think that sums it up.
BALANCE! Neither understeering nor oversteering. Quick, but not jittery or unstable. Good power and light weight. No body roll and great road feel, but still a pliable and comfortable ride. Small and light, but roomy and plenty of storage space. Beautiful, exotic looks; but almost-subtle refinement and class. Awesome, distinctive sound; but not too loud or noisy. Luxurious in a spartan, racy sort of way. A track-ready street car; or a daily-driver track car. Its not that my Ferrari is the best at any one of those things... its that Ferrari has provided a better blend of all of those things than you can find anywhere else! BALANCE!
For me, it is the SOUND. We all know, you can spend less on a faster car, so it is not the speed. I personally do not care at all for prestigeness and exoticness. Sure they are beautiful but you can get beautiful cars for less also ... The only thing no other manufacture can get, is the sound, nothing rips and snore like a Ferrari, period. That's why I want one.
Each F-car is different. I like them all for a different reason...although, I have to say I used to own just 1 F-car (the rest of them are my brother's). F355, love the sound and (dare I say it) practicallity. I used it everyday for over a year as my only transportation and was surprised how well it handled the daily use. But it's the sound of the engine that grabbed me. 328 GTB Koenig, I have always love its shape. And this car with the Koenig's body just add the right amount of aggressiveness to it. The rumble from the engine is also great. I enjoy driving it a lot eventhough it's not particularly fast...it just feels so right in every way. F360....had a very short period with it...never really enjoy it...so we sold it..ha ha... But hay....like I said, every car is different and I must say I like them all...
This forum only contains words. My love of everything Ferrari goes much deeper than simple words can express. Pictures say a thousand words. Sounds say even more. Driving one is pure heaven. Seeing the license plate with "Paid For" is evn more enjoyable.
The looks on the 512TR are just so Right. like my friend calls it pure Italian Sex Machine. Its so graceful & elegant yet menacing at the same time. Thats art to capture all that in aluminum & steel & glass. The profile sometimes reminds me of a horses head when he runs w the fenders flowing like a silky black mane The sound w tubi, no cats is spectacular, very powerful, Almost too loud but livable. The power Ze power is good She thrusts you back in the seat Hard when you punch it, nothing wrong with that. The F50 brakes are very reassuring but you better be strapped in or you might kiss the windshield when I hit the brakes. The handling is fun & a challenge at once to make a 4500 # 460 hp machine submit to your will & balance it Just so, Thats also art The attention she gets is fun too. I really love my 512TR
I'd have to say the feedback I get from the car through the steering wheel, knowing that no other car I have ever owned gives me that kind of feedback through my hands. Okay the looks, the sound, and the smell and damn nice too.
can you say a bit more about your impression on the 360. You did not enjoy it, why ??? Between 355 & 360, which would you pick ? reasons ? thanks
