Great quality shots are being posted here: http://www.exoticcarforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10433 As we speak... 56k WARNING
just got back with my 15 yo son and oh my god!!!! this show was almost too much to handle. sensory overload. there are no bad cars anymore. this is not to be missed and leave more than the 3 hours we had. we didnt see 3rd floor or the tuners tent outside.
Kenny and I spent a few minutes with Carroll Shelby last Wednesday during press day. We're working on a project for Spike TV. We asked him about his favorite cars including what's his favorite car to take on a date. Here is his answer: http://www.52favoritecars.com/vids/carrol_lo.mov
Can't believe the answer! Somebody please put Carroll out of his misery. Or at least put me out of mine, if I ever answer with something like that.
Auto Show was great. Went on Friday and met Noah. Was a great show and after many years finally a Ferrari display. Nice meeting you Noah. Keith
Andre & Keith -- thanks VERY much for the kind words ... great to meet you guys too. Vik!!! Can't believe you missed us! ... now you know you have to drop by again this week during lunch, right? As Gus mentioned in his other thread, we're all down by the Fantasy Photo section in the South Concourse in the "free" part of the show -- the farthest south you can go in the Javits Center (34th st & 11th ave.) So you all have to stop by, say hello, get your picture taken in a Murcielago, buy one of Robferetti's DVDs, and enter my raffle win a free day in the 360. Now I gotta get my butt to sleep. And in case anyone thinks that it's not tiring working at the Auto Show 12 hours / day, let me assure you thaZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. nlh Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry Noah. Had I got my way, I would have spent all day there. Unfortunately I was with a, ahem, lady friend, who got bored after an hour, and rushed me out. The Fantasy Photo section was the one section that I just didn't have time to visit. It didn't even strike me that you guys were there, otherwise I would have definitely dropped by. Anyway, the car looks gorgeous -- all shiny and beautiful. Hope you are garnering lots of business. Did you get your windows tinted?!?! We should catch up soon nlh.
I'm sorry that I didnt take pictures last sunday when i went to autoshow. i actually forgot to bring it once i got into the cab. I did like seeing the Maserati MC12 formula car there. Anybody got clear pictures of it? Gianni from Ferrari of Long Island told me that they were planning on making 25 of these cars. And only 8 or 9 have been sold already. Though, if they couldn't find enough buyers, they would not even make the car itself.
