I know the Dallas contingent will be me, Rob, and Jano. I seem to recall that Dale will be there from Houston. Who else? I'm trying to figure out how many beers I'll need to buy. :D

    PS- Thanks Brian!

We'll be there. We had been on a "list" for the hotel, but just learned that some rooms had mysteriously become available, so we'll be there both nights. Might bring both Fcars.

I was thinking of going until I saw you had to be a member of FCA, that plus the hotel and all, hmmmmm?

First, for those of you that are FCA members is it worth the money?
Second, for those of you that have gone before is it worth it and is there still time?

I don't think you have to be a member to show up and hang around!

I could not make it with Art Car preparations, so you use my name!

    Hel_, everybody else does! :)

Don't try it with DPS, though. The HPD just gave me a nice ball cap and duffle. I went to Academy and filled it with ammo.

I think I'll be leaving from work (Las Colinas). JimE is leaving a little after lunch, he's trailering though. Are you trailering or not? I'm driving the 328.

I am just up the road, near the Marriott on 114; a 512TR. I there somewhere that makes sense to meet?

From Las Colinas I think the quickest to 35 is 114 to 12 to spur to 20 to 35E, but maybe you have another idea. I work at Rochelle and 114 so that may be on your way if we go the above route.

I was also thinking we need to avoid the Austin rush hour, but I think if we leave at 12, we should be fine.

I'm sorry, I don't know who you are just from your username. Have we met before?

    Thanks,
    rob

vlamgat and I are leaving from my work in Las Colinas right before noon Friday. If anyone else is interested in the Ferrari train, let us know.

The event is looking great, just got word there are 41 parties signed up. So that's upwards of 80 people and more than 40 Ferraris considering how many will bring multiple cars.

I'll be an hour behind you pulling the caboose. If you guys have any problems, call my cell. I have plenty of room and expect to bring a bunch of stuff.

Seeing this thread make me want to go..... Being a father, a husband, & a man is not easy...... Working late is although little comforting.

Rob, vlamgat, how many times do you think you have to make stop to fill up your gas to SA?

Jim, if you find something bulky in your rigged 328, just ignore it. It'll be gone once you get to SA.

Jano, are you talking your beatiful 348?

Dr. Tax, don't forget to shine your gold tooth! (I appreciate your offer on 550 drive!)

Where can I find more info about what's going on in SA? It turns out I'll be down there this weekend and I'd like to stop by and check out whatever is going on. Is this possible?

Sean, you might be able to navigate for somebody during the rally, I know that a lot of people don't have copilots.

My guess is we wont stop until after we clear Austin traffic. I reckon I can get 300 miles on the 26 gals in the tank. Bigger question is whether I can wait that long?

I don't know that I've ever been more than 200 miles on a tank in my car. I don't trust the gas gauge.
