    Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone who is part of the Ferrari Club is going to the NY autoshow this Saturday and wanted to meet up. I am yet able to afford my Ferrari, however would love to get inside their booth and take some good pictures of the cars. Unforrtunatly, the only way I know of that you can get in is by being a member of Ferrari Club of America. Please let me know if anyone was interested in going, and would be willing to meet up with me and help me take some good pictures. Thanks in advance.

Last week. Ferrari/Maserati was well represented there! The show stand had a red/tan 360 spider, a red 575, a new Maserati Quattroporte, a coupe', and the new Maserati MC12 race car. Elsewhere in the show I saw a decal-ed 360 Challenge car and a ProDrive Maranello (sorry, no pics of any of these).

My understanding was that the show was open to the public for an admission charge. Why would you need to be a member of the FCA to get in?

On edit, I guess I would point out that there is good photo access to all the Ferrari cars even if you're not standing inside the boundaries of the booth. The cars are surrounded by low glass walls and never more than a couple of feet out of reach.

I have not been to the NY show yet, however, I saw the booth at the Detroit Autoshow. I have really good pictures of the fronts of all the cars, but not of the back. I was able to ask one person to get a single picture of the 360CS, andit came out wonderful(see below) but I wanted to get more. I was told at the booth in Detroit, that you had to be a member of the Ferrari Club of America in order to get inside the booth. Maybe it is not the same at the NYAS.

I just talked to a friend of mine and he said that the booth was open during the press dates, but is only open to Ferrari club members during the public dates. Again, if anyone was interested in going to the show, I would appriciate meeting up with you so that I could get some more pictures of the back of these beautiful machines. Thanks a lot.
