What I dub, "Fire Orange Pearl."

I'm working on some darker colors for later. I have these in 1024x768 if anyone's interested.

Korr - yes. I used to work as a designer. I didn't spend forever tweaking these, though.

Auraraptor - I can; I'll do it with the next batch (lost my marquee layer).

How do you do that? I'd appreciate info on how to do it. I've never gotten the hang of repainting in Photoshop.

    Help would be appreciated!

The orange one isn't to bad.Ferrari and red seem to go hand and hand though.

An art print I just made from this picture. I took these pics at the French Quarter Classic in New Orleans. Send an email if you're interested in a print of this in an 8X10.

Cool idea, but isn't Canna di Fucile a gunmetal grey / titanium like color? Yours looks brown. Also, your Azzuro is a bit off, looks pastel / baby blue.

Dan, I wasn't looking at any other pictures when I did these - but I remembered that in the sun CDF has a bronze pearl look on top of the grey. Given the sun in my photo, I was replicating that. See pic, which I just found in the 'canne di fucile' thread. I hadn't even looked at the color for 2 months. Heck, I think that's color memory worthy of some "Straight Eye for the Ferrari Guy."

Sure, my Azzuro is actually a bit too light in the shadows and dark tones. I should have referenced something before saving it. But, you're getting what you pay for ;-). Azzuro CA is incredibly hard to match correctly.

I just thought people would get a kick out of seeing a beautiful work of art - the Enzo - in some interesting colors.

Ya, change them over to CMYC not RGB. Those colors don't and can't exist in real life. :)

Hey, but then I wouldn't be able to spend three hours playing with a bunch of car pictures just so a bunch of people I don't know on the internet can critique them.

I'm just trying to stave off that delirious phase of loneliness and boredom.

Ferrarichat has become my "Wilson" ala Cast Away.

A temp agency did say they might be able to find me office work in the $5-8/hr range, but I sent in the resume and now they haven't called back.

    Jussum: you mean CMYK ;-).

I'd love to see an Enzo in some outrageous colors in real life. Sure reds and yellows stand out but a Fire Orange Pearl, 50th Anniversary Lamborghini Teal, or British Racing Green wouldn't be so bad either.

I think I've seen a picture of an F50 Barchetta out on a track in a Candy Apple Green type color before. Unless that was a Photo Shop.
