This Thursday, 4/15/04, from 6-8PM at the Hobby Center, downtown will be the Kick Off party for the 2004 EV1 Art Car Parade. The Hobby Center is located at 800 Bagby. This looks like it might be a high class affair!

The Houston Press Personals will join us at 7PM in the Artiste, inside the Hobby Center.

Any folks working downtown, fall on in there! If you can find me, I'll buy a round. That's usually not hard to do...........Look for The World's Fastest Art Car Ferrari. You can hear it from at least three blocks away!

    See ya there!

Be careful with your clutch, speedy. Them artsy fartsy cars cruise mighty slow. You maybe better off taking one of the go karts. Hav fun, I know I did last year (with the exception of the MTB crash I had after the party, OUCH!!)

Well, this was an amazing evening. I had a great spot in front of the Hobby Center. The balcony above was packed with folks.

The art car crowd was remarkably well behaved, no arrests, and watching the mingling of the singles group with the artists was excellent street theatre.

Fiddler on the Roof was inside, and the music was piped into the lounge!

We left when the free beer ran out! They gave me about 250 event posters to distribute.
