Is it just me or this shade of tan is not the "classic" tan as in F355's, etc??? Anything to do with the new leather supplier, as think I heard Connolly had gone bankrupt???

What a shame if it is, eh?

I also heard that Connolly had gone bankrupt, but I have the idea that *another company* has taken over connolly production. Jaguar uses that leather, right? And their cars are still being equipped with it, atleast I havent heard otherwise.

That interior is still nice, though.

I think it may just look different because we aren't used to seeing the dash and steering wheel in the color.

Also, even if a new company is making the leather, it's not difficult to match dyes.

I hope they don't lose that Ferrari smell, though!

there's virtually no way to tell from snapshots like that.

connolly is in fact gone (maybe long-gone - like 2002?).

i forget the name of the new supplier they are using. italian, if memory serves. it's been discussed here before - you might check the archives.

That is not a new or unique color. There are many shades of tan that can be ordered. I do like the tan matching dash and steering wheel however. This greatly improves the look of the car in my opinion.

    The leather manufacturer is Schedoni.

schedoni manufacturers a variety of leather goods for ferrari.

but i am fairly certain they don't own any cows, as it were ;)

it's been discussed here - search the archives for the new hide source.
