    I'm looking for original replacement door mirrors, I have the US version, square.Any leads would be appreciated. I already tried reoriginals,italian car parts.

    There wer some on e-bay yesterday.

    I had the same thought once. The mounts and location are different for Euro mirrors than the square US mirrors.

    yeah, the ones on ebay are the euro "Turbo" models.I'll try UK tomorrow. Thanks guys.If anyone has any for sale let me know. Thanks.

    Richard, I see you too have a black 308, so do I, metallic black. Bought it in Naperville, Il. about 2-3 years ago.

    When I had my 914 I purchased from Schucks a set of Baby Turbo's almost exaclty like the stock ones you will see on some 308s for about 50 bucks for the two. I have never seen a set since. That was almost 8 years ago. My current 308 has the same mirrors and l love em.

    I bought mine from Continental Motors in Hindsdale, IL in '99.

    Is your's the original paint?

    Oddly someone approached me at a Ferrari show last year inquiring about hte color. He said he had repainted an grey f-car the same model year to black.
    He claimed from somehwere west subs of Chicago?

    Originally it's black metallic, then at some point I think it was red and then repainted back to it's original color.If you're ever coming to Miami let me know.

    Oh almost forgot, Reoriginals has a set of Original Turbo mirrors, I know because I'm returning them tomorrow,wrong fit.

    That's pretty cool, It's a beautiful color isn't it? now if I could only find some mirrors! Ha Ha! Actually TRutlands may have a pair of used ones they're looking into for me.

    Yeah. I think black is really the best color for the 308.

    Any car for that matter. I had a black Porsche and a black corvette also.

    Hard to say what is original on these cars. My car has 2 different mirrors. One is electric, both from the factory. The california mirrors are nice but many styles were used.

    The US QV that I have uses the big square ones. The euro's and early US models range from the california's to the turbo's. unfortunately the ones I have, the mounting hole s are totally different.By the way the yellow on your 308 looks stunning.

    Thanks Paul, but I have an '84 308 US version ,they're big and square. I wish it were the ones you showed, you'd figure the later versions would be easier to find, but it's the earlier models or late model euro's which are easier to find.Thanks anyway.
