    That explains it. I wondered why - from 3,000 miles away - I, a deaf guy - could hear the celebrating in Yankee country after you left. Sad, but true... even though it wasn't nearly half as loud as the entire *South's celebration (still going on, in fact) when Alf left Florida for Maui.
