What think our FerrariChat members about this restyling ??
Retractable headlights, side vents, new handles...
All in the mind of 0456AM, the beautiful Rossellini car's.

I feel the headlights are too centered (making it look like a 70s Corvette) ... wait ... the whole front end looks like a 70s Corvette ... lol

I think it's better, but I'd have to see the current car in real life ...

When I saw the pic, the firs thing I thought was "0456."

    I think it looks good.

looks like a 2010 Aston Martin, typically old looking barge :)

Don't mess with the masters, Pininfarina rules....ok?

Agree. After seeing the 612 at the NY Auto Show, it looks much better in the metal. The pictures of the front end always seem to distort the size of the front grill, making it appear larger than it is in real life.

Absoluetly agree. If you have not seen this car in person, you have no idea what you are talking about. It looks killer in person. Looking at it from the front, it looks menacing.

I hope you guys understand this isn't real, it is a official Ferrari press photo that has been manipulated, and it's gotten uglier then the original as well, imo.

i'm not feeling that either. i think the retractable headlights are gone for a reason. the 612 isn't that bad the way it is.

Of course it's a manipulated picture !! (by myself).

I just wanted to see if I was alone to think that the real headlights were ugly (it's my opinion) and if it wouldn't have been interesting to respect more the design of s/n 0456AM.

But, my picture doesn't make unanimity.
Never mind !! Thank you guys for sharing your opinion.

I've learned to live with that car....Yes, it is different. But many ppl judge too early before their eyes get used to the car & it's design.

I personally think it looks nice!!

They shouldn't have relesed the early sketch. That car was so beautiful. Now the real stuff is far off the "dream model". I don't like it.

I really like the car also. I don't know what people see that is so "radical" or "different" about it. A lot of people talk about the grill but I think the whole thing looks awesome. I would not hesitate to buy the thing to haul the kids around in (if I had the cash :) ).

Although I don't prefer your modifications to this 612 either (I don't really like the real one so don't worry), please continue to come up with new ideas and design projects. Don't let a little negative response to this one stop you.

You might not need the encouragement, but I didn't want you to think that attempts are not appreciated.

Side note: Although they have penned the world's most beautiful cars, Pininfarina has been hit or miss lately, IMO.

This car has grown on me. Im sure it looks much better in person (as most of those who have actually seen it agree). I forget what article I was reading, maybe someone can provide the name of it, but they were talking about when they first released the Testarossa. It seemed at first more people hated it than liked it. When they released the F50 is was the same thing. And then the Enzo repeated it again (although I know many people still do not like the design). When the F50 and Enzo first came out, "What the hell have they done?" was the first thing that came into my mind. Now the F50 is one of the best looking cars in the world, IMO, along with the 512 (testarossa). Maybe Ferrari took a bigger step outside of the box when creating the 612. But for a 2+2 luxury speed demon, I think it fits the part. Maybe this car isnt what some traditional Ferrari owners are looking for, but I think it has a rightful place in the stable.

    My .02

I was super excited after the initial sketches were released... but then the real car was a let down. Not as dramatic. I wished it were just in pictures, but even in real life the curve that runs from the hood down under the intake looks goofy.

Frankly, I think it looks like a catfish. Especially in the (otherwise beatiful color) Grigrio Ingrid.
