Just thought i'd start another thread so we can all post some nice shots of Ferrari and other great marque's that we have tucked away on our harddrive's. I just stumbled across some nice shots of cars I took at the 25th anniversary Concourse D' Elegance last year in Michigan. Did anyone go? It was great, see you there this summer! I hope you enjoy the pics. Vasco.R
This lovely black 250GT Buano is the reason why we went down. My collegue who owns the 250 GT took it there with a bunch of us. Apparently the car itself had an invitation to sit in this circle heheh. Look at the cars in this spectacular circle of show cars. I hope I didnt ruin the pictures again with my fat arse heheh......enjoy
This is a show that takes place every year on the former Dodge estate. Is is absolutley stunning. The only complain I have is the lack of Euro cars. I also didnt get the shots of the other Lamborghini 2500's that were there. The show was beautiful and picturesque. Very classy! I look forward to going there agin next year. Hopefully with ALOT more and better pictures. Thanks for your time. I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Please post yours!!! Vasco.R
Nice pics Vasco. Don't worry about your freakin' arse so much. You're going to give us all a complex! When in the Summer does this show take place? I can get my beater Rambler all fixed up and road worthy to drive down the 401, but don't know if it will be impounded at US customs. It's just that I have to slowly work my way up to exotic status! lol
HAHAHAHA Complex! I know, i'm just kidding, playin around. I don't care if anyone says anything anyways, just trying to spruce things around here. Hehehe (not with my arse that is) WELL! Its Saturday nite, cars are cars. Time to forget them for a second. I'm on my wait out to chase some arse of my own ;-) Sans-Diablo that is.......*sigh*. My Saturday nights will never be the same. *tears* Ciao
Ya, no kidding, what am I doing home on a Saturday night? I should be doing the same chasing as you. BTW, let us know if you'll be doing another "Sans Diablo Saturday Night" again soon. You name the venue and time, and I'm sooooo there!!!
Here are a number of photos I took during this weekend's running of the vintage races, at River's Edge Raceway track in Mission, B.C. (about an hour's drive east of Vancouver, the only race track around...). The star attraction was a display and demonstration laps of a gorgeous Jaguar Type D, up from Seattle. Needless to say, it sounded as sweet as it looked. Another star attraction was the weather! It too was gorgeous. You'll see in one of the photos below, a young fellow driving a vintage Aston Martin, with its owner riding shotgun. Their expressions on their faces reflected everyone else who attended, pure enjoyment. The racers certainly pushed it, in fact a little too hard as one of the Porsche 356's got totalled (driver's side totally wiped out. It happened before I arrived today). As it was the past few years, all of the local car clubs showed up today for parade laps, unfortunately, only one of the Ferraris showed up (well it would've been two if my car was ready!). Enjoy the photos. Be patient, there are many (but only about half of what I took during the weekend): Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Darn, I guess I'll have to get a schedule for Mission. I was out driving Saturday morning. Would have been fun to come up. DJ
