Hey F-Chatters, Tell me, did the Factory use chrome plated nuts (nylon lock type) for the thermostate housing and water pump to water pump housing?? Interesting to note that mine are chrome plated. Please advise. Thanks, Chris.
The only chrome nylock nut on my 79 was the condenser line to rad bracket. I do have silver and gold through out the chassis however.
The only chrome plated nylock nuts on my '79 308 are the aftermarket ones that were added and the pair in the driver's seat, (painfull but worth it).
