Nice website. The routes haven't been plotted on it yet, have they?

Sounds good. I know you're actually keeping secret a third route, just for Ferrari's right. ;)

We have quite an extensive route planned. Unlike the JDRF "suggested route" we do not have cars that will block traffic to let the Ferrari's through (that was very nice). I am making another run tommorrow to check something new. Long Island is not the same farm land it used to be. Many of the old "nice" roads are now crowded with houses and traffic.

Are Mondials allowed to participate in this? We wouldn't want to hold anyone back... right, Sam? :)

ALL are invited to the "suggested" "spirited" route. Heck, my old, slow, and broken 308 will be leading the way. We are kind of looking for a head count for the "suggested" route for planning purposes, thats all. We may need another driver to assist me with the route during the drive (Ed, you up for it ??????? I will take you through it Thursday or Friday if you are interested).

    This 308 votes spirited
and I KNOW the mondials can keep up.

although if Sam leads with the broken speedometer, it might be a bit more spirited. :)

PAYMENT $30 per person; At this point, just let me know if you are attending and what car you are bringing and you can pay me at the event, or
you can pay by Pal Pal (id [email protected])

    - Here is the information:
WHERE: Our meeting place will be the Park and Ride off Exit 63 Long Island Expressway, (Route 495/ LIE), on North Ocean Ave (Suffolk Route 83) just north of the LIE. (IF THE PARK n RIDE GETS TOO FULL THERE ARE NEARBY LOTS TO USE).
    WHEN: April 24, 2004: Time 9:30 AM.

    - There are now over 120 people and almost 50 cars. If you can fit a lawn chair in your car, might be a good idea.

    - There will be trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the People's choice concours...clean your car!

    - There will now be some live music, courtesy of one of our attendees.

    - JUST IN FROM ONE OF OUR ATTENDEES:
"Incidentally I run a professional weather company here in Cos Cob, CT with access to all the regular and experimental computer guidance weather products produced here and abroad. I think the ROE will thread the needle between rain showers from a departing disturbance passing south of the region Friday night very early Saturday and another rainy pattern setting up later Sunday in early next week. Cool but not cold as well especially out east with a breeze off the water as water temperatures are still in the high 40s. I will try to post weather updates as the situation clarifies."

    (in other words, no rain!)
    Sam
