Jim, unfortunately, the plate blew off during my Utopia run. I guess next time I better use Duct tape....
Dale- can't you just put that plate in your front window when you see one of our friendly constables zipping around with their lights on? My understanding is that it doesn't need to be "attached"... only visible from the front.
I'm just going to bolt mine thru the hood! Like Napolis on the Ford. I can't find a darn place to put mine, although I have this nerf bar below my spoiler on the 308. If I cover the Goodyear logo, the sponsor won't like it. I'm carrying the darn thing around in the seat, and duct tape is starting to look good!
That'll pass????? I don't need Smokey to take me in to make REAL ones! Stamp......Stamp.......Stamp.........
Of course, you have heard that bad joke about New Hampshire's motto of "Live Free or Die." Guess who make those plates....
Dr.Tax, Quick question. I notice in the pictures that you have a car bra. However it seems that your bra only covers the bumper while most bras cover the bumper and hood. Do you see more stone chips on your hood, or do you have 3m on there? -Curious in CA
Ryan, only speedline makes a bra for a Maranello and WYSIWYG. Next time, I'm going to go with the clear tape.
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!! By the way: Left to Right: Mrs. Maranelloman; Mrs. Redcar1; Dr. Tax wondering how much of this weekend is deductible... On another topic: I have the StonGard tape. Love it.
OMG That is THE funniest thing I have read in a while! Thanks maranelloman! Wow..LMAO. So Dr.Tax if you dont have clear tape, is there a reason to just bra up the bumper? I mean isn't it cheaper to paint the bumper than the hood? I would think the hood gets much more stone damage then the bumpers (at least on my cars thats how it seems)?
Speedline does include a small hood strip. Only problem is that you can't close the hood properly and the light stay on. Actually, the current bar does a good job because most of the bugs get sucked down or up. However, I had to cut out the mesh because it was overheating the engine. Dale ps Everything I do is deductible
Dale, Everything? Is this like the old joke about the CEO hiring a CFO and all he asks them is what is 1 + 1, and he hires the guy that answers what do you want it to be? LOL By the way, will you be my accountant? Nick
