I'm pretty sure Maranellos have a red one too. I'd be more surprised if they weren't all red!

Think they have suspension tweaks, challenge grill, carbon fibre bits on the inside and scuderia shields.

Maranellos want 70k for their 3k mile version registered on 1st June 99. Lot of money for an admittedly nice car.

This car has been for sale for almost a year now. I looked @ it in december when they wanted 115k for it. This car was checked by Ferrari of Long Island and has a laundry list of problems which they will gladly share w/ you. It is at best worth 95k, but I would not and did not even give them an offer. The salesman looks sleazy too. I wonder if anyone else seen the car.

I was thinking of buying the red car as well. I owned a yellow/black six speed Fiorano (#52) and regretted trading it for a GT2. The red car has, as you indicated, problems. I had my friend who lives on the East Coast look at the car pretty carefully and the car was not up to par -- and he did not have a good feeling for the dealership either.

I think there is confusion here between the F355 Serie Fiorano, which was a US only special edition, and had a particular spec inc carbon fibre trim. Not sure of the exact spec.

On UK cars, the Fiorano pack was an option which gave you a quicker steering rack, drillied brakes and a recalibrated suspension ecu. You can have all the upgrades retro-fitted.

Remember the geometry is slightly different so speak to specialist lie Karl at Verdi's for amending that part.

The last 100 F355 were called the serie Fiorano. 90 of them were made for the US and 10 for Europe. All but 4 were with the F1 box, all were spiders and all had a numbered plaque and other cosmetic details such as suade steering wheel etc.

The handling specs however (wider track, Challenge suspension ECU, quicker rack, lower suspension and wider track) for the Serie Fiorano were availbale in Europe as part of an option called suprisingly the "Fiorano Handling Pack" from 1998.

    I hope this helps

    Cheers

Are yousure of this number?? I have seen 3 this week alone all non-F1. I know that they really built 104 Fioranos, but only plaqued 100. But, I have 3 customers that have standards, and sure there are more then just in the Silicon Valley.

he meant that all 4 of the EURO 355 serie fiorano spiders are equipped with the F1 gearbox. 10 of the 100 U.S. spec fioranos are indeed 6-speed manuals.
