Just got the car home from Norwood's.
I have scanned the dyno sheet for fun and will post it to the group, IF someone can tell me how to make the "manage attachments" button work! For some reason, mine does nothing when I click it.
    I'm using windows xp.
    Thanks.

    OK,
I disabled, popup blocker and restarted my computer with it out of the loop; still no luck.
    Any other ideas?
The numbers are 417whp and 350 torque.

Great numbers! I don't know why the attachments won't work for you, but if you want to email it to me, I'll post it for you. [email protected]

Sounds like fun. A few questions:
    What kind of turbos?
Did you change chip, intake, exhaust, fuel system, and/or headers too?
Do you have a map of your A/F (air:fuel) ratios?

    Thanks!
    Chris.

I think you need to find out why this indicated point has such a precipitous drop in power before using that part of the power band.

Is it: Fuel? Timing? Detonation? Rich? Lean? ???

    Thanks for the interest guys.
Chris: the car is run by Motec. Yes, the intake system was changed. If I could "manage attachements" I would upload a pic of it, (I think my profile shows one.). The Turbos are garrett T-3's, sold under the Turbonetics brand name. The entire system is user adjustable running wide band lambda. I am in the process of tweeking an already close map.
Mitch: Good observation. If you noticce the drop occurs right after peak boost you can surmise that it is infact, the wastegates bleeding off a bit too much air. James clued me into this. A wastegate adjustment is in order. Thanks for the comment though.

I don't know if this might be part of the problem,
but don't use "#" in the name of the pic, as in Dyno run #2.

    Hope you figure it out.

Can't they make it less peaky. Like using two different size turbos that will boost at different rpms. Imagine those beasts coming on in a corner. SPIN. That is alot of power though. I want to TT my 355. What kind of things do they guarantee in regards to engine and transmission? What is the durability?

Peaky equals FUN :D :D! While it might not be ideal for track times, etc. it sure would help a smile erupt on my face!

Very NICE! Glad to see that the turbos are working well. How does the car drive? Do you notice much lag? How is it for normal driving? I am having a ball with the Twin Turbo Norwood Testarossa, and am looking forward to getting it dynoed soon. The Motec needs some tweaking and Tom Bakowski just finished doing a major on the car. Post pics of your car if possible!

Thanks Adrian. The car is easy to drive. Jame's goal was to make it drive like a "stocker" until you put your foot into it. I'd say, He's achieved that. Once you drop the hammer, it becomes a different machine. Still not the fastest car on the road, but will run nicely with the new Ferraris.
