Did anyone here know that Brembo now owns AP Racing Brakes?

Just hung up with the Brembo US importer. Brembo purchased AP racing 2 years ago. AP is still "seperate" of Brembo, but they work together.

I did not know that until I read the EXCELLENT book on the 2000 Ferrari F1 team that we won in this past weekend's Make-A-Wish silent auction. It surprised me, frankly..

    Thanks! Glad to be here.

We actually paid for the book.....dearly. I might add...but for a great cause, IMO.

I read Audiworld (Thanks Doody) but have never posted there. I JUST got the car on April 3rd, so still learning it and how I want to mod it.

Where do you get some Brembo Billet 4 piston calipers and two piece floating rotors for an F355?

    Thanks,
    Mike

I didn't know this. So do they have separate design methodologies, etc? or are they really just branding things out?

Brembo 332 x32 front and rear.
2 piece rotor using the F50 Caliper.

    Front $3295.
    Rear $3895.

Calipers can be painted any color you like.

We have fitted this on to a 99 Fiorano and that car was amazing. The brakes were comparable to that of a GT2 Porsche. Contact me if you need any more details. I am an authorised Brembo dealer.

Of course they are very nice, 7 grand is 7 grand no matter what car they go on, i would think i could chose any colour of the calipers at that price, even if they go on a Civic. I looked at Tarox big disk kit i think i was told 355mm (drilled or groved )with 6 or 8 pot, cost was around £1500 for the front.I will be doing the breaks on my car this year, i dont know what i will use though.

I know it's an old thread, but i found it interesting anyways. When I found out that AP became part of Brembo, I was so sad. Everyone is amazed by the AP's on my cars, but thankfully hardy anyone knows about the merger. Doesn't get much closer to F1 than that!
