I'm use to it now. I always hate change, but sometimes I admit it is good. I even wish "motorcycles" was a separate forum.
I like it this way. I'll admit I liked the free-form discussion in the original, but this is nice with some organization. I wouldn't advocate any further fragmentation though. Mark
I don't really understand the complaints. If I were to make a topic right now, I would know where to put it. Maybe the post count isn't as high as it used to be in certain threads... I say keep it like it is.
I like it a lot now. There are just many sections (not just in off-topic) that I don't really go into much at all. The division was hard for the first like week but now I'm used to it.
It sure seems to me that the overall number of OT posts has dimished. Rob - what was the daily post average in off-topic (before) compaired to off-topic + cars & bikes + business + politics? Maybe I'm wrong. Luke.
It is much harder now to keep track of what is going on. I'm a F-Chat maniac and used to keep up on the topics because there was only a couple of places to look. Now I just scroll by 3/4 of them.
I liked it better before. It seems like I have to look into too many 'different sections' to make sure I am caught up on all the F-chat banter each day!!! I always liked the OT section. Tons of neat stuff there. Change it back Rob........or not, ultimately it's up to you!
While it has made it significantly longer to read up on the day's new stuff (I think I regularly check 7 forums now), the areas have given some order to what you're expecting in each forum. I'm split on my opinion (sometimes you find an interesting thread you might not have expected/looked for when the OT was all one) but I voted to keep it this way.
