    I was just offered this:

Not what I meant when I said we only take Ferraris as trade. Was asked how much I'd give. I said $5.00 for a round of bullets for a shotgun and we take that "thing" out of its missery.

    lol

Not the worst thing I have ever seen. :)

Check out the mirrors - I guess it is an 86!

The side is cool, the back is ok, but the front grill seems to be slopped the wrong way or something.

This just in from the guy:

    Martin
We took it to the dealer auction in Tampa today. (Greater Tampa Bay Auto Auction). It caused quite a stir. The dealers thought it was unbelievable and the workmanship superb. It must be seen to be appreciated. Of course when the vehicle came up to the block there was a hundred dealers around it but they were all scared to bid. They didn't know what it was worth. (No one does). To make a long story short it brought $10500. We need $15000 to sell it
    Joe.

If the Ferrari emblems were removed, the truck would look nicer to me anyway. It appears well built.

Gadzooks. Where's ol' Charles Darwin when we need him? The owner/builder was supposed to have been "selected" out of the gene pool somewhere around the time of amphibians.

The confusing thing is that for the $$ and the labor to build that, the dude could have probably bought a real 86 TR. Or a least most of one, enough to finance the rest reasonably.

    You folks are a riot...!

Wolfgang, that thing is awesome, what is it...?

Martin, you should buy it; like everyone said, you could use it for parts deliveries or pick-ups; it would be a cool truck to have...

    LOL!

We got the same car offered:

    >>>
We just acquired a unique vehicle which may be of interest to you or one of your customers. It is a Custom Built (Hand Crafted) Ferarri Testarossa Pick Up Truck built on a 1984 Toyota Pick Up truck chasis. It took 10 years to build and over 30000 hours of labor. Pictures and words cannot justify the quality of this workmanship. It has a $6000 PPG Ferrari Red clearcoat paint job, shaved doors and tailgate with electric remote openers, custom made bed cover, Ferrari styled wheels, Marmitte/Ansa Ferrari exhaust system with 4 outlets, Ferrari emblems, 4 color leather interior, high end Sony C D changer, factory air, Momo leather steering wheel, etc. The list goes on and on. It truely must be seen to be believed. Truely such a unique vehicle woulf be of interest to a Ferrari enthusiast. I have attached a couple of pictures but they don't really do this vehicle any justice. It must be seen.

:D NNO, it's a little joke I did on Wolfgang some time ago... He didn't like it that he couldn't drive his beloved Testarossa that period due to the bad weather... so I created something based on his car in his garage to cruise around when he wasn't able to drive the "beast" :) I thought he (and most other users) would be shocked but to my surprise... a lot of people liked that thing! I still don't understand :) There was even a poll about it that time:
    http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10346&highlight=city+testa

Nice and funny to see it again here... :)
