Meeting place for Ferrari Challenge???

Sounds like fun, I will be there Saturday and Sunday! When and where?

 

As far as a good place to meet, there are plenty of great places. As far as just seeing the cars, there is a hill called Spectator Hill which is great for seeing the cars come down the esses. Another good spot is the seating areas at 10a/10b. There you can find a good amount of late braking and good passes. Also there is a good amount of parking at either location. I personally like 10a/10b, but whichever you prefer.

Can't forget 6 and 7!!! That's a uh...er...interesting sequence of turns. Nice to listen to Ferraris fade away down the back straight for sure!!!!!

Yeah, and plus it is a good place to try your luck on the Autocross or the skidpad, just have to make sure the marshalls aren't looking! I am going to try to bring a GTech Pro that my friend has; hopefully my Gtech Pro Comp will be in by the weekend!!!

So, where (and when) do we meet? How about a special place for FChat members?

 

Anyone want to meet for lunch at the track? I say lunch time because I figure most people will be coming in all morning from various points of interests.

 

Sounds good.....where to meet then? Plenty of parking around turn 6/7 then we can caravan to where ever you want to eat. I know there is a Buffalo's just down the road from the track. Should we meet at 12:00?

11:30-12 N Exhibition Class
11:30-2 PM Lunch
1-1:30 PM Club Touring

 

12 sounds good to me since I can not do the club touring that starts at 1.

Meeting up in the big arear of corners 6 & 7 sounds fine to me though unless some one has a better suggestion of a meeting area.

I got an invitation to drive the 2004 Maseratis, but my appointment to do that is at 12:00. I will catch up to you guys when I am done with the drive.

 

Well how about driving the 2004 Maserati over to us? hahaha

I have driven a 2002 spyder and it was great...too much cowl shake for my liking, but the engine was fantastic. I really like the coupe with the stiched headliner. More of a GT than all out performance, but none the less a great car.

I've heard they improved them every year with 2004 having some major changes to suspension and so on.

 

i will be with company, so meeting up with other folks is somewhat conflicting; however, i'd like to meet you folks as well, so if you see a dude with a black horse on his chest, don't hesitate to come over and say hello...
