Its a nice car in its own right. But could never be compared to a Ferrari. Sorry, still nice though.

Slower than a slug, handles just so-so, fit and finish are very questionable and the dependability is not as good as you may be thinking. Yes, it is a lot less expensive than a Ferrari and a lot cheaper at the same time.

    1. It's really not an STi, they really have little in common.
    2. Yep it's mass produced, great job catching that one.
    3. If we were to stick to only ferraris, would we really need an off topic->Cars and motorcycles section? or an 'other italians' section for that matter?

This is off topic, calm down a little.

And to the poster, ferrari resemblance where?

I bought a 350Z and revved it up to 9000 r.p.m.'s and then I had some motor problems. I brought it back to the dealer and they said that there was nothing that they could do so I traded my nissan for a Honda. I have revved my S2000 to 9000 r.p.m.'s quite a few times and have had no problems so I am a happy camper now.

You may also want to mention this to Rob Lay the creator of this site who has a fondness for Mazda RX-7's. I believe they are Japenese cars. He might be able to explain to you how to keep an open mind and not be a SNOB.

i just drove one today....thought it was pretty cool. Felt well built, a little too quiet, but seemed to handle well and had some punch. For the price I give it a pretty good fun factor. This car was brand new, so I'd like to see it in a year. For the price, it's faster than ferraris of equal price, not nearly as exciting if you ask me. Not going to trade the 355 for one.

Like the black on that car.

What on god's green earth are you talking about? The Z is limited to 6700 RPM. That's nowhere near 9000 RPM.

Write this on a chalkboard several thousand times:

    350Z doesn't look like a Ferrari.
