I just got my fist ride in a 275 GTB4. This car was beautiful, totally unrestored. Not sure the correct name of the color, but it was Blue with tan interior.

This was the first time that I had even seen one let alone ride in one. What an experince. The gentleman who was so kind to offer me the ride, was a person that I met on Ferrarichat. Go figure.

Thank you for the ride, I will have a smile on my face the rest of the day.

    Rob

I got my first ride in a vintage Ferrari yesturday as well --a 330 GTC. I was VERY impressed with it. I figured they would be slow, heavy, and kind of soft feeling, but that thing moves and takes corners like a Ferrari should. Great car!!

Man, give a guy a brake. Sorry FIRST ride. Now would this be a spelling mistake, or a typo.

Besides, you really do not realize how much you use spellcheck.

Now that you pointed it out I am embarrassed, where is that edit button. Rob help sombody edit this tittle.

I really had a great time in this car. It just smells like a race car. There was life before emissions.

The owner did a couple of blips of the throttle while he was down shifting, and it sounded awsome.

Well, I do not want to type too much more, you got me gun shy.

On the day they lowered the national speed limit to 55 I drove mine (275GTB2 long nose alloy 6 carb) as an act of civil disobedience from Boston to NY in two hours. I have fond memories of running along as the black smoke cleared, the popping stopped, the flames blew through, and it began to sound like nothing else quite did. Afterwards you did smell a bit like napalm in the morning...

It's the smell...you know, that gasoline smell...the smell of --VICTORY!!!
Much better statement than a protest march, Jim. More style too. ;)

Wait until you drive one! Back when they were worth the same as a new Lexus, I used to take care of a 4Cam, Dino Spyder and Daytona. The balance of the 4 cam is sublime; not as overwhelming as the Daytona. Thanks for bringing back memories of my first time...
