Glad it stopped raining! You being in DFW and all, don't be surprised if there's a deluge of news reports about a low-altitude UFO when the sun hits it just so.

Congrats on the car and the end of the saga! I almost PM'd you the other day as I remembered D-Day was supposed to be coming around again, but decided not to jinx you! Enjoy it!

Yes Brian I have to agree that I am totally impressed with the colour combination, very classy.

Thanks for the write up too, interesting.

If I am ever are able to buy a new Ferrari I will have sombody to look up to on how to get the most out of their car. That car is definitely going to have fun and wear the miles proudly.

I went out to MSR for the afternoon. Disappointed Brian wasn't there, but I did eat some 911 turbos and Z06's to represent.

Pulled it out this morning when the sun got to the right angle... got all set up to take the pic... and literally as I walked to position, the clouds rolled in! Ugh!! So, I snapped one shady pic and then went for a drive instead...

At a little over 200 miles, the sound is changing a bit... really purring at idle! Don't know if I just managed to blow out a month of build-up while crossing the ocean... or if its just breaking in, as sportscars tend to do. The sound and power of my M3 continued to improve to about 10,000 miles! Whatever... I was enjoying it before, but am loving it even more now.

Did much harder braking sequence today. I was pleased to see very little brake dust resulted. Brakes look and feel great... I'll step it up one more notch tonight or tomorrow.

Drive it so much that you wear the engine out in 3 years, and get a new one under warranty! How's that for a goal!

That is a beautiful car . . . but what really makes your story great and worthwhile is your willingness to actually use and enjoy it. I'm sure you are going to have a fantastic time with the car.

You could just drive the thing 24 hours a day and set the distance record instead.

Can you post some interior pictures for all of us to see? That is a great color combo you got. I think you made the right decision by not getting the stripe with you color combo.

What a well-deserved head-turner you have there, Brian.
Post some interior pics, too :). By the way, not relevant and just out of curiousity, does it come w/ Pirelli tires?
