I'm simply encouraging leadership and a win-win proposition for all - not the least of which is the F-Chat server. No finger-pointing.

Though I'm on DSL - not all F-Chatters are. Some pages with large amounts of photos on single lines end up at 4 to 6+ MB though the Pictures themselves are not on every post on any given page. This means a lot of F-Chatters have browser and/or modem issues and don't get to see these enthusiastically pics at all.

By way of example, I opened up a different browser that I'm not logged in to. All of these pics are on one post - not page - post.

That speaks volumes. Again, no finger-pointing. Simply consideration.

    Good point Tom,

While i have only Dial up at my house (No DSL avaliability :( ) I have a T1 line at work. the only bad thing is that F-Chat is filtered at work.

When i come to a post that has way to many attachments i just end up looking at another post.

I think you can disable image display in IE, that way you get text only and fast.
I'm on ADSL and love all the pictures. I wonder, question to Rob or other admin, if there is a commen map on the server where all the images are, maybe sorted on date/time, then I could download all the pictures at once to my HD. Often very good pictures are posted in all the regional threads that take to much time to read or browse all.

FC has about 5 gb in pictures. :)

I would love if both posts and pics were more quality than quantity; however, I haven't found that quality toggle switch yet. :)

    Rob,

Why not have a couple of moderators to control attachment of Photos That way if so mone places a duplicate photo that is already on F-Chat it can be removed or rerouted to the original picture. That could save on HD space.

Also the poor quality photos or photos in poor taste could also be removed.

This seems like an almost impossible task considering how many pics are on FChat. Is there a way users could change their settings to not open pics up and let them click on the ones they want to look at?
