    I just got my EVO, great volume, and there was a picture of a limited edition 550 in race trim for the street. What a awsome looking car, only 25 for the US. Any insiders have any more info on this car?



    It's not the spelling it's just a typo

    Could it have been the Schumacher edition.
    Think they were all dark grey with bordeaux interior and racing interior.

    It was the last issue. This 550 looked just like the race car. I will scan and post later

    You're confused with the special 456M series Bicolore on that one. They were not 550's. Somewhere I once read that Ferrari made a couple of special 550's which were equally equipped as the car that broke some landspeed records in the US in 1998. This 550 is on the cover of the 1998 Ferrari yearbook.
    I think you meant that one?

    No, Prodrive are doing a special road-legal racer based on the 550. They will take used normal 550s and build them to their specs.
