    Doing a mot and a little service on a alvis 1956 model this morning,and these things have a push button starter standard,its amazing how things seem to come back,newer ferraris have them,renaults some fords,glad the 1956 auto engineering has stayed where it is though,

    I always think that prodding a button to start a car has a greater sense of occasion than twisting a key. New Astons have them too.
