Check George Evans (Evans Automotive) in Ohio for these new... Price is reasonable and he's a great guy to deal with.

The most complete source for Alfa parts. Can practically build a car from their catalog.

BTW, I've never heard of a slow window motor. Slow windows are almost always due to the grease in the drive gear ass'y turning to something approximating semi-cured epoxy. After you 've cleaned & re-lubed the gears, the windows are back to their original speed.

Never hurts to put a couple of drops of fine machine oil on the bearings at each end of the motor tho.

If cleaning/re-lubeing the window drive doesn't speed things up enough, Install Mike Tarrant's relay 308/328/Mondial Slow Window Fix in the Parts & Service section:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/partsandservice/slowwindowfix.htm

DO NOT just install this fix w/o 1st cleaning & lubeing the drive gears. The combination of the heavy load due to the gooey grease & the lowered circuit resistance can smoke your motors, blow fuses, cook fuse panel contacts...

As Verell said, the first thing is to clean the drive gears. Dollars to donuts the motors will come back to life. It just seems that the motors are rarely the culprit of the slow windows.
Another good test, is to connect the battery directly to the switch leads. If you notice a big improvement, than there is too much resistance in the circuit possibly due to oxidation.
Regadless of what is done to the circuit, clean the drive gears first. Yes, it is a PITA, but you will be glad you did.

    Wayne,
That's George Evans selling those motors. If you search the archives, you'll discover that Ed Gault bought them & discovered they weren't a lot different from his orig. motors after he'd done the clean & lube service:

    http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/256120/8376.html

Not sure if Evan's motors would be more powerful if the resistance in the circuit were significantly reduced. Could be tho. Lots of times under marginal voltage conditions a higher power motor will actually deliver less torque than a ostensably lower powered one because the 'lesser' motor is still getting enough current to deliver full power.

    SLOW POWER WINDOW SERVICE PROCEDURE:
BTW, Here's the link to Ed Shreyer's Slow Power Window Service Procedure in the 'Ole Tech Q&A Archives':
    http://www.ferrarichat.com/discus/messages/256120/114996.html

I've got to get around to cleaning it up, adding a few pictures & getting Rob to post it under Parts&Service...

I agree with the cleaning route. For sure you can pick up tons of speed from cleaning and re-greasing all the movements as well as disassembling and cleaning all of the power window switches. They corrode with time and add huge resistance to the system.
