Car Wash In Manhattan

I have the same problem. Now I take my car to a hand-wash place on Rte 22 in NJ, but I wish there was one in Manhattan

Guys, if either of you are in the Bay Shore, NY vicinity (South Shore of Long Island), I have a hose, a pail of suds and all the water you want

 

I live 30 mins aways from the city, come to my house and I'll wash your 360 for free. I'll do a very good job, you can count on that. I'd only ask that you take me for a ride once I'm done.

There is a great place right next to the garden state plaza off of rt 4 about 8 min away from the GWB...

they do the entire car inside outside dash seats, both sides of all windows, greastest hand wash in the world and its only $10! lol

i swear its like having the car detailed everytime i go

Are you talking about the New Look car wash? If so do you have any trouble getting your car inside that place, the ramp is kinda steep.

 

A suggestion for other Manhattanites: I asked my super and now he lets me use the hose at my building - I just park at the hydrant right out front, bring my pail, soap and other car cleaning stuff and wash the car.

This past weekend, I had my TR and my bro's Porsche out at the curb for a car washing session.

If you can't set something like this up with your super, let me know, and stop by when I'm washing my car, and you can do yours too.

I saw the OBI pictures and was sad I missed it - must have been great. I will try to make it in a couple weeks.

there is a place in fort lee right across the GWB that I see washin 360, 355 and benzes all the time. Its across the street from Burger King and next to the Exxon gas station. they do excellent work and have all the proper cleanin tools.they charge $16. Its called Auto Detailing.

 

Well, I used to go to the car wash on 92nd(?) and 1st Avenue. They did a decent hand wash job for about $30. Unfortunately, they have recently moved. I am not sure, but I think they moved to Washington Heights or something. I haven't ventured up there yet.

Speaking of car washes, I am at school in PA and have gotten too cheap/lazy to take it to any places that do handwashes. I used to take my car to an automatic place that did a decent job; but now I find myself taking my car to those fully automatic car washes you find at gas stations. I have a black Mercedes G500, and the swirl marks I have are incredible, lol.

 

Hubert, try westside highway and 55th St (or some where around there). Full wash and detail should run you about $100; wash only would be less. Also, why can't your garage hand wash your car? My garage does it for $20 bucks...$50 if detailed inside and out.

yes and they have a separate area for detailing.

 

For $100 bucks, they better hand wash it with Q-tips.

 

The carwash on the West side highway is at 46th street and is fully automated and I take my Cayenne Turbo there. I have never seen a seperate hand wash area, but I will ask them about it
