"Ferrari Recall No.: 40" Could this really be the 40'th recall in F history? When did NHTSA start doing recalls?
The affected build dates are 10/14/03 - 11/6/03, so you should be ok, Brian. (Maybe it's a good thing your first one went over the side ;-)
Ha, maybe that's what happened... they went to drive it off the boat to FNA and a wheel fell off... they needed to do a post-mortem to determine cause... but obviously wouldn't want to inform the world of that until they determined a recall was needed. Well, its a nice theory, anyway.
I wonder if this affects Euro models as well. I've recieved no notification so far. Which is pretty usual as they try to keep these things quiet over here. I don't think we have the same high standard of regulatory body as the US. Or probably they'll just quietly fix it when it goes in for it's next service? Wazza

search for "Ferrari recall" on the Web now and then and they can't keep you in the dark - you got to love the freedom of information act - I would check with your dealer - I know that you are into dump trucks; not sure about these three wheel cars you have in the UK (forgot the name) - by the way my bolts at the right rear wheel have ben so tight that I had serious problems to get them loose - not torqued to spec I would say and thats with TI bolts - shh
Hand built cars!! There's a gorilla at the end of the production line with a six foot wrench that puts the wheels on
For UK Recalls on all f-cars see http://www.theaa.com/allaboutcars/recalls/index.jsp?makeName=Ferrari&makeId=B2 None made for the Stradale however
Thanks for the advice Thomas. Your right I don't want to turn the Stad into a 3 wheeled Reliant Robin. Cheers Wazza
When did you pickup your CS? I just got mine at the end of April and didn't hear anything from the dealer. I'll have to give him a call.
