...and why I'm excited, I don't know but I just am. No, not a car, sorry. But I've *never* seen one of these come up for sale, and never new about it until I saw it in a book on the 456. It's a Ferrari Dealer sales kit, and is used to help prospective buyers select their color combinations on thier car. Basically comes with paint, leather, and carpet samples for all the colors Ferrari offers. This is all nicely packaged in a Schedoni leather case that is roughly 2 feet long , a foot tall, and 4 inches deep. It also comes with clear outlines of the cars, so you can put your paint selection behind the car outline and see a visual of what the car would look like in that paint. The paint chips also have cutouts so you can see how the color would look with a specific interior color. I'll bring it to Crystal Cove if anyone wants to see it (next weekend)
