You got it! I told you it was easy! I always loved this interior. And they used the car in a Bond movie as the bad guy's car. Can't get much cooler than that!
Zach, I heard you need to study... Nah, this is more amusing. Somebody has to name Zach's car though.... Try this one while we wait for the other one...Hey Bill, what other hints should we give? since this is FChat, maybe the name involves sportscars? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Okay my turn (BTW: I love those Maseratis ... one lives not far from home!). Name the car and when and where: Pete
Here's an easy one, sorry PSK, we can run two at once, I only had this pic at home. We were looking at houses last Saturday and I found this in a garage.
Sorry, I've been away for a while. If it's American, and it's a sports car then it must be a... It looks like a space ship, like something Flash GORDON designed...
I could give you the address if you want it. You would just have to say you found out driving by and the garage was open. What I found interesting was 3 "hot rod" guages on the dash. Be nice to know what was under the hood and the history of this car.
Alex, I'd like Deutsch-Bonnets for 1000 please? Pete? I'll let others go for the big money on who and where <<Sur le plan purement sportif, en 1952, D.B participa aux Douze Heures de Floride à Sebring et y remporta la victoire à l'indice, ce qui fut un résultat très important pour la réputation de l'ensemble des constructeurs français dans le monde, à une époque où, précisément, disparaissaient les grandes marques telles que Talbot, Delahaye, etc. >> Nobody got Bill's car yet, !st T-Tops ever designed. My car has an April Birthday.
Bill's car was a TASCO...The American Sportscar CO., designed by Gordon Buehrig, one built, not claimed by him as a great design. Mercury powered, 1st use of the T-Top. My car was a Volvo 179.
The Cali s/n raises an interesting point. I have it as s/n 10327, which was indeed a very different shade red. By contrast, 10077 was the correct rosso rubino color (like this photo). But how can this be explained: http://www.ketchamimports.com/For_Sale_Ferrari_365_10327.html Has 10327 been repainted (and reupholstered, it would seem) to match 10077?
You too Zach... Here's a pic of 10327 @ Sheehan's...was red. Must have had paint since sale. Image Unavailable, Please Login
wayne after you stumped me with the beretone Cadillac I was somewhat shocked to see this at the Keels and Wheels show (see it in TEXAS) section Image Unavailable, Please Login
Where do you think 348/TR side strakes came from??? That Chris-Craft Cobra in your pics was outstanding!! I need one of those with a nice early Kiekhafer hemi, wet tubes, Merc/Kiekhafer I/O Image Unavailable, Please Login
