I watched this video and am really skeptical about it actually being a human being playing this game. I'm sure all of you have heard of Mario Brothers on the old 8 bit Nintendo that came out years ago. If this is real then this guy is the best video game player known to man. Otherwise it's a program somebody wrote that handles all the controls. A bunch of people on another forum where fighting over whether it's real or not and I figured I'd ask all my buddies over here what they think.

That was fantastic. It brought back so many memories. If only I would have been 1/10 that good. I don't care if it is real or not, it is great to watch Mario race through all those rooms.

If the video is real, then that guy is amazing. Would it be really hard to actually do that without a program? It seems that someone could have simply captured each perfect level and them edit them together. *shrug* Whatever it is, it's f*cking great to watch :)

Wow! Has anyone seen the video of someone beating Quake in 17 minutes? That's even more impressive.

    Thanks!

That was by far one of the neatest things I have ever seen. There is NO WAY that was real. So much fun to watch though!!!

Nothing wrong with this video.. I used to beat Super Mario 1 in less than 10 minutes, and Super Mario 2 in 15 minutes flat. There are some videos of crazy Japanese guys playing Tetris where the bricks are falling at mach speed. There are some nutty people out there (like me) who have nothing better to do with their time :)

I've seen the video before, the way he/it plays, seems almost impossible, but after seeing the Tetris movie, you never know, right.

Here's the video of a program beating Quake in Nightmare mode within 13 minutes :

It's 165mb, so it will take a while, but it's worth it.

Edit : Oopz, you need to register with Gamespy to download it I see.
Sorry, I'll see what I can do.
