I want to go, but I have prior engagement at 4-season on 5/16. I must play golf there, and also go see the tournament afterwards. Entertaining clients. Have fun guys! I just hope the weather will hold up.
Great course, very smooth & fast. I even hit my rev limiter, what a blast. I thought my times were good & getting better until I saw the rest of the field's run times. I'm now in STX class, basically I was stomped & outgunned by a pack of Subarus. No big deal. Prova7 was running good (sorry that didn't talk longer, I was busy with the car & the run groups were moving so fast.) Some of guys here need to try to make next month, it will be held on the infield race course.
How clean was the lot? How much stuff were you picking up and throwing onto your paint? I've autocrossed at TMS a few times, but that was before they had to repave because the lots started crumbling. And I haven't yet done the bus lot. Its on my calendar! I definitely want to see what they do with that. And its Fathers' Day, so I ought to have some say on what I do that day!
The bus parking lot was swept & gone over with a leaf blower from what I understand. That area is also used by a local R/C car club when they have national & local events. A lot of preparation went into this event & I would like to see more events like this at TMS. Very well organized & much better than running at Pennington Field. Also, if you are planning to attend next event, registration must be done online. The SCCA will not allow more than 250 cars to this event. http://autocross.com/texasregion/
