    HI all,

    Im new to these forums so Im not sure Im posting in the correct spot. My question is fairly simple. When I was born my dad owned a 365 california spider # 9801. He sold it when I was somewhere around 2 or 3 years old but it was his favorite car he ever owned (for obvious reasons). I am curious if anyone knows where this car is and who owns it. I have lots of history on the car that people may not know - such as the pop up light motor was replaced with one out of a triumph because no one knew what they were doing when he was repairing the car - or the fact the car was once painted white with boat paint by the original owner. At any rate all help is greatly appreciated and I would LOOOOOVE to see the pictures of where the car sits now. :)

    It was the 1967 New York Auto Show car. I don't know much else.

    Ah I actually knew it was at one of the auto shows, but Id really like to find out who owns it now. The last photo I have of the car is from when autoweek (I think it is) did a small article on the car and my dad in Chicago.

    Do you know where you found that photo? Or the year is was taken? Looks like all the light problems have been fixed in that photo since whe my dad owned it the popups almost didnt close quite properly... Anyway THANKS!!

    I don't think Prancing Horse has an on line archive. It's more or less a club publication that started out on a mimeograph machine!

    Check under "Literature and collectibles" on this site, post there looking for it.
    Back issues are pretty available and if you just want a copy somebody will volunteer I'm sure. Sorry mine don't go back that far!
