    As the title of this thread suggest, the latest Ferrari Market Letter (I have an online subscription) has a great article on decoding the Ferrari VIN. I know many of us have asked questions about this, and this should as an extremely useful guide for us.

    Unfortunately, I cannot paste it here because of copyright issues. FML sometimes gives access to all users for certain articles. If not, I would suggest this article alone is worth the nominal six-month subscription price.

    Tell me, what more is there to decoding a Ferrari VIN than traditional decoding (year, serial number, etc.) won't get you?

    Engine type?

    Coupe vs. Sedan? lol!
