Dave (or whoever whined about the copyright) needs to get a life.

This vid is fine. I know I enjoyed it. Music is too pop for me, but it's not aggravating as techno, camera work is fine (although a stable in car camera wouldn't hurt).

    Could use less compression though.

Nice vid, keep it up. I'm pretty sure a lot of people enjoy it.

    From a fellow videographer,

The content is decent. Everything else is (I hate to say it) bad. Make an investment in a tripod, steadicam, or car mounts...it will do wonders for your video career!

Also, the music is iffy....if you want to play something trendy, keep it low so we can hear what we want to -- the engines!

The only thing that should have been done is take the volume of the music down so we could have heard the cars. After all its not a music video, its a car video. But the music was good.

I personally think that its the "amateurness" in the video that makes it great.

Just my .02 cents, I think you did a GREAT job!

Sounds like some of you guys need to get a life. This is someone having fun with their video camera. I don't think he is trying to become a producer so don't feel so threatened. He won't take your job.

I thought it was great! Looks like you guys had a great time!

First thing is first people dont seam to understand that when you film car footage in a car you are going to pick up you car sound the most so every engine is going to sound like yours . 2nd when you stick the camera near the window you start to pick up the sound of wind and even worse when you stick the camera out of the window thats all you hear is wind so thats why you add music sometimes louder then the cars some times the wind is so bad you should just cut the sound out completely out of the clip. Now the only way around this is to put microphones in all the cars and then you can hear all the different engine sounds but you will have a lot off editing to do and it better look in time with the cars or it will look like shhhhhh-it. Bottom line, it is fun to watch raw footage and rob did the best he could for the amount of time he spent on it. Not my style of music but you can never win with music there are to many people with to many opinions.

    THANKS FOR THE VIDEO

    "Hail Satan"

Guys the whole thing with my videos are always its just me and my buddies having fun. I am not out to make it into a profession and mount camera's and tri-pod this and that, because then it becomes work not fun. Plus camera mounts dont move to follow footage, so you get a select view the whole time and lose out on some cool footage. Doing a pull with a modified f-40 while in a 800+ rwhp supra at WOT, do you think steady shot is really going to make a difference? :)

The reason the music sounds louder is because when compressing it to under 30 megs, I kept losing either video or audio quality. So I made a custom compression setting to keep the audio 100% while the video is compressed to a lower setting to keep the video under 30 megs for dial up people. Anyone that wants a better less compressed version can email me and i'll arrange sending it to you.

Oh and as far as my website stamped on the whole video, thats because when i used to make little video's people stole my footage, or edited out my credit and used it for themselves or their businesses. Just out to provide some entertainment, I am glad some people enjoyed it

You posted that here, I respoinded with an honest opinion and with critiquing manner. Fix these things I complained about, and the film would be vastly better.

So you know first hand how it sucks when people steal from you...

I guess you doing the same with someone else's music if different though?

In no way shape or form am I claiming the music to be something I made? When someone takes my video and say's "look at what me and my friends did" and puts his credit at the end of my video, thats a different story.

For someone who didn't like the video you sure click on the thread a lot. Get a life already!
