Hey Guys, Check out www.adoptastraystlouis.org. It's a charity that's giving away a 2004 360 Modena F1 Spider @ $100.00 a chance. If they don't sell at least 4000 tickets, you get your money back. So either someone wins the car or we all get our money back. Someone has to win, why not me! (or you I guess) Thanks, Flash Gordon
Be careful! Probably a scam. Check the archives and you'll see this was tried before. The guy got a couple of grand, but wound up in jail IIR. Dave
Dave, Thanks for the warning. I checked out the organization at the St, Louis, MO Better Business Bureau and they check out. You can see the report here: http://www.stlouis.bbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=110219452 Thanks, Bob
I think I may have come across a little too negative. This may very well be a legit raffle, but there was a guy who pulled a $100 ticket scam for a 360 a year ago or so. I can't remember the particulars so the archive search isn't helpful. Maybe someone else will remember. Good idea to check the BBB though. Very few people checked the other guy out. Dave
The ad I first saw in Autoweek lists Stewart's Ferrari of Denver and even gives a VIN #ZFFYT532AX40135618.
The organization giving away the 360 in a raffle posted the info on the main Ferrari Chat page. This attracted a lot of "scam" comments as well. But, I think the lady in charge of the organization answered all their concerns. See the thread at: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18048 Bob
